To teach the children that God calls us to encourage those around us and build them up in the things they are good at.
Exodus 35 - 40
During this time in History Moses is speaking out the command that the Lord gave to him on Mt. Sinai. God wanted a central place of worship for His people and Moses was given specific instructions for that to be carried out. It took a range of skills and abilities for this to be done and everyone gave willingly. This is a great example of teamwork and purpose at task. There would have had to be communication, encouragement and relationship building during this project. God looked at each person's heart and only wanted people helping for the right reasons. Moses supervised all of this as it happened. If there wasn't teamwork and encouragement it would not have worked and the physical evidence of God's favour that rested on the tabernacle when it was finished in chapter 34 -38 would not have been there.
