He is working out what he wants to create and because he uses his brain so much, he feels that is more important and wants to create a brain, believing that it will be the perfect companion. He then realises that it won't be able to walk, or swim or write with him etc... Eventually he decides that the brain is still the most important part. He decides not to worry about the other parts just yet. He feels that they are not as important as the head. |

HOW A FAMILY WORKS: The teaching is from 1 Corinthians 12: 14 - 23. This passage aims to show quite comically that one part is not more important than the other. It goes on to say that we are only significant because we are part of the body, that in fact on our own we are nothing. |

Professor Von Vonahan creates the head first, in order that the head will help him with the rest of the body. But the head thinks it knows better and thinks it's fine on it's own. He refuses to cooperate with the professor and they end up in an argument. The head being " Headstrong" does his own thing to find that he gets caught with a bucket over his head and no means of getting it off because he doesn't have any arms. Yelling and apologising to the professor he begs for help. The professor takes the box off and the head realises maybe the professor was right in wanting to create the rest of the body for him to be complete. |

The professor is very upset and when the head chooses to not function. They talk and the head realises that unless he functions in the way that he was created to function, then he is useless. Professor comes in excited because it has worked. The head wants to know what's going on and then he shows the head, (their creation) the arms. The arms come alive and talk. The arms are very different to the head. The head is male, with a strong solid voice. The hands are female with a sweet voice and quite sweet. They clash straight away. The Professor leaves, in hope that they will get acquainted. The head complains about how different she is and how this is just not going to work. |

Today Professor has created the legs. They are also different and quite crazy. They are not as confident as the arms and head and the head and arms see this as a way of bossing them around. The legs do what they are told and get tossed two and fro by the head and arms, trying to please both and feeling worse about themselves. The head and the arms get into a fight trying to justify why they are more important and should be in charge. The legs get really upset and confused and end up falling apart. The head and arms stop to ask them what's wrong and find the legs feel totally useless and have given up. Professor VonVonahan comes in to find the legs given up and the head and arms fighting. The professor begins to explain what the legs can do that the head and arms can't and that all their roles are very important and just equally valuable. |

WE ARE ALL EQUAL: The teaching is from Mark 12:38 - 44. In these verses Jesus shows a very important contrast between those who think they have it all together and those who feel that what they have isn't worth much but they are willing to give it all anyway. |

Finally the Professor has created the body and has joined the body parts together. The body parts try to function as individuals and everything goes wrong. They feel like failures and wonder if this is ever going to work. The body parts become upset because they can't make the body work and they don't want to fail. They begin to make excuses and blame each other for not being able to make things work. The professor helps by getting them to try, rather than making excuses all the time. As they practice things start to go well. They begin to realise they can do something after all. |

The body is still struggling and time is running out for them. They begin to encourage each other in the things they can do and they start to come together. At that point the professor comes in with his big surprise. They have a big party and because they have a reason to work together, they do very well. WORKING TOGETHER: The teaching is from Exodus 35 - 40. God wanted a central place of worship for His people and Moses was given specific instructions for that to be carried out. This is a great example of teamwork and purpose at task. There would have had to be communication, encouragement and relationship building during this project. God looked at each person's heart and only wanted people helping for the right reasons. |
