Show More The Seventh commandment is a very important commandment but one that may be difficult for younger children to understand. The focus continues on the family and the way it should function. The purity of the marriage state for God is a foundation for social life. Hollywood makes the free and easy lifestyle of adultery, fornication and lust so glamorous. But it is a lie. This type of activity only brings pain. Everybody loses and every member of the family is affected. The world would like to tell us differently. Children watch shows sitcoms every day on TV which displays this type of behavior. In fact, many children live in the heartbreak of it everyday. The teaching of "sex only within marriage" is laughed at within the education system that our children are a part of. They are taught this freely at a very young age. We must give them an alternative. Although it is a very difficult topic, the world addresses it, the Bible addresses it, why shouldn’t we?
