Show More Ruth's story shows a sacrificial love for family and ties that might not always be happy, but certainly important to her identity and a sense of loyalty. Having a History and valuing where you come from is important. Those that don't know where they come from find it does affect them, and many children today have very confusing family histories. It has to account for some of the unhappiness this generation is experiencing. This family History ends up with a proud ancestry From King David to Jesus. Imagine what would have happened if they did not stay together, if they did not have loyalty and value for family.
