The desire for possessions and to acquire money and things to retire in a comfortable fashion. It is this very focus that takes the Western world’s eyes off God and onto themselves. We see in New Testament times it wasn’t much different. Mostly it is in our comfortable lives that we take our eyes off the mission.

You Will Need: FOR TEACHING TIME: Fail or safe (Fail videos), Song bite “I get knocked down but I get up again” (tubthumping) as well as the full song, Big Boxes with the words of the verse on each one (one box for each word), An area roped off for the barns, Plank and big soft bats for Walter and James, HQ – will be a part of the teaching today, Two prize baskets. FOR SMALL GROUP TIME (THE MISSION): Impossible puzzles and challenges, one for each small group (there are many on internet or a game shops)
