The Victory is ours

Aim: To teach the children that the victory is ours in the end. God has promised a great ending to our race.

Show More Although Revelation is often avoided when teaching children, it is important to help them understand the promises of God, and the assurances we have in being with God forever. Children today are looking for a hope beyond this world; they are very spiritual and are told by the TV that there IS something out there. Let’s teach them about what is out there and the hope we have in God. Revelation is written by John, while imprisoned on the Island of Patmos. God gives him a vision of greater things to come, which would have been a strong contrast to the way he was living each day in prison. It was meant to be a promise and a comfort to those that loved God of greater things to come. An encouragement to us all to run the race and finish it well, knowing that the prize is worth it. Our children need to hear this as much as we do.

You Will Need: TEACHING TIME: Pen/Paper for each child for “Life application, 2 rooms for Training Station: Dark room / Bright lights to put on later, Room with butchers paper on walls / words written on them, crayons, lollies in bowls, drinks for the children, streamers and balloons
SMALL GROUP TIME: Prizes for every team (every child) - all equal value, Cake (6 pieces), Pom poms. (6 sets), Lemonade/ 6 cups, Presents - (Like pass the parcel). Open a parcel and get 5 colors and a chocolate, out of it before can run to the end (enough for each race, each lane)
